Ali and Duncan are friends off the mats. However that friendship relies partly on the fact that Duncan accepts Ali’s natural bossy personality. However, on the mats that status quo is disputed – Duncan is a strong foe and is determined to win, and Ali no longer feels like the alpha – which turns this mixed encounter into an spirited, unique fight – a test of friendship.

Duncan snatches victory, with an extremely close score of 5 to 4. He has a solid weight advantage over Ali, while she has better dexterity and technique, but it appears that it isn’t enough. A rematch is bound to happen, and Ali is eager to get it as soon as possible. Right after entering the backstage area Ali, while still fuming, straddles Duncan’s neck and tells him his fortune.
