NC-07: Akela vs Gregor

FightPulse fan favorite Akela’s first mixed wrestling encounter is a semi-competitive match against Gregor. Even though Akela is new to the wrestling scene, she is learning fast, and has natural talent when it comes to pins and using her legs. There is no question that Akela (5′ 8″, 136 lb, 24 yo) would easily defeat Gregor (5′ 7″, 154 lb, 36 yo) in a fully competitive match, however we decided to make it semi-competitive since she has not fully recovered from her injury from her match with Xena (FW-11) yet. This video include a vast amount of schoolgirl pins and headscissors. There are a total of 14 pins & scissor submissions scored by the winner.

Match outline: introductory interviews, staredown, the match itself (17 minutes), victory pose (foot on face), final interviews.

A semi-competitive match between Akela and Gregor. After 3 videos it’s still not easy to judge Akela because she’s yet to have a true competitve game. From what I’ve seen so far, and especially from this video, I’ll say that she’s strong (probably stronger than what she looks like) and quick. However her technical knowledge is extremely limited and as a result, a.) her reactions are very slow and b.) there were so many opportunities to submit Gregor that she missed. This is understandable of course because she’s very new into all this.

You aren’t going to watch a fierce fight in this video for well understandable reasons. This video is to watch an attractive girl with good potential against a below average male. However no matter her physical capabilities, her attitude was puzzling. Even though I can’t say that she looked bored, I can’t say that she was having fun either. Not bored, not playful, not aggressive and wild. More like…”robotic”. There was an awkward vibe throughout the match
like “ok, we are doing it because we were told to”. That is not to say that the video was bad, but it (probably) could have been better. Akela had
pretty much the same indifferent attitude against Xena, so now I’m waiting for her next fully competitive match with an ankle fully healed in order to see
whether it was this damn ankle that caused everything or she’s just not into it.
