MX-110: Zoe vs Peter | Fight Pulse

It’s time! Zoe ⓘ and Peter ⓘ square off in one of the most anticipated competitive mixed wrestling matches as of late!

This is an absolute must-see for fans of fast, aggressive, competitive mixed fights! While the competitiveness is at a high-level from both sides, one side proves to be the better fighter, and achieves dominant victory.

Zoe’s fans know that while she has a perfect record when it comes to female wrestling matches, things are not that easy for her with mixed fights. In the past it almost seemed liked she lacked confidence and maybe even had a mental block when wrestling males, with the idea that “males have to be stronger than females” lingering in the back of her mind (this is addressed in both pre- and post-fight interviews). Well, get ready to discover the new Zoe!

Some of you already know that while Peter lacks high-level technique, he is as aggressive as any top female at Fight Pulse. He wants to win and is eager to break the rules from time to time to achieve a hold. However, in Zoe he is facing an opponent of similar weight and similar strength, who is more experienced than him, and is at least as aggressive and competitive.

Not only does Zoe break her bad streak in mixed wrestling matches, she does it with an exclamation sign, with a dominant victory over her aggressive opponent. While Peter’s ferocity helps him catch Zoe in several holds, Zoe proves to be too tough for him, and manages to reverse the position almost every time, immobilizing, pinning down to the count of ten or submitting her male opponent.

Zoe wins this rough match in a dominant fashion with a big score, capping it off with a forceful foot-on-face victory pose. Among other holds look for a spectacular reverse one-leg pin (cover photo) and a devastating grapevine hold by Zoe during the match.

MX-110 is without a doubt one of the best MX titles we have ever produced. If you are fan of real mixed wrestling, you should absolutely see this fantastic match!

In pre-match interviews and staredown, this would look to be an even matchup. Similar size, although Zoe looks to be a little more athletic. Early on, Peter holds his own until Zoe secures a 10 count pin. She then quickly applies an excruciating body scissor to begin and end round 2. It is here, one begins to realize the lower body stength advantage between the two. While Peter attempts to apply the same hold, he is unable to force a submission and Zoe fights her way out of several other holds before securing another dominant pin. Peter continues to fight gamely, but he lacks the skill and strength to force a submission. Zoe bides her time, working her way out of his holds until she gains superior position for another fall. Round 5 sees Peter continuing to fight bravely until Zoe maneuvers him into one of the tightest grapevine pins imaginable. How he was able to hold out for the pin count is beyond me. But in retrospect, it may have proven to be his final undoing, as Zoe proceeds to sap whatever energy remaining in him. The second half of this match is complete dismemberment of a weaker male by a far better conditioned and vastly superior female opponent.
