MX-132: Lia Labowe vs Frank

Happy New Year, dear Fans!
As many of you already know, one of the session world’s most wanted wrestlers, Lia Labowe ⓘ, visited Fight Pulse early in December. We filmed 6 videos with her, which will all be released within the next 3 months. Once in a while we film a match that gets so much attention that we decide to release it without scheduling. This is one of such matches.
In MX-132 our guest from USA, the legendary badass, Lia Labowe ⓘ, squares off against one of Fight Pulse’s best male wrestlers, Frank ⓘ, in a competitive mixed wrestling match. If you are a fan of real mixed wrestling, you absolutely have to see this fight!
Lia is a good grappler, with tons of wrestling experience, and is deceptively strong. However, Frank is no slouch, and is well-versed in the pins & submissions style. It is a rough, at times aggressive, intergender fight, but with a clear winner: Lia Labowe. Frank does his best to fight back, and even has some success, but Lia’s experience, superior lower-body strength as well as fighting spirit help her achieve a decisive victory. At the end of this long 24-minute fight Frank is reduced to a whimpering mess, due to multiple failed escape and attack attempts, and triangle torutre that Lia subjects him to, and Lia is able to score a humiliating pin to cap off her victory before treading on the face of her beaten, exhausted male opponent.
Bot pre- and post-match interviews are interesting as both wrestlers weigh in on their chances and the outcome of the match, as well as a couple of peculiar moments in the fight. In the post-match interview Frank, still unable to get up from the mats, admits that Lia is one of the best wrestlers he has ever faced.

That was absolutely brilliant. I thought Frank did exceptionally well because I know what is like to take on Lia. Superb methodical action from both athletes. Very sporting encounter. When Lia slapped Frank’s ass (twice) you should have asked her if she was tapping 😉 I’m looking forward to the other 5 Lia videos coming out. Well done FightPulse for inviting her to compete with your athletes.
Thank you guys for this awesome match. Lia is really good and I love the fact that you gave her an athletic and experienced male as an opponent . This made for an exciting and sexy encounter. Frank did a good job defensively because as he said himself she was way superior to him and sometimes you just have to take that lesson and work on your defense and learn from the winner simultaneously. She would have outscored a less crafty opponent by like 15 -0, because her BJJ is really advanced. Plus nothing is more exciting than getting dominated by such a beautiful diva like Lia Labowe. This is really a match that embodies a dream scenario of being overwhelmed by a beautiful little BJJ Princess even as a more experienced and strong guy. I love Lias attitude here. She is very humorous, feisty, competitive but somehow endearing and sweet. Frank had a positive attitude. He did his best and acknowledged Lias tremendous capabilities. My favourite moment was the Facesitting pin at the end and Lias feisty comment on it. This is what happens when the best girls out there come to the best mixed wrestling company, you get such treasures of videos 😀
I want to start off by saying that I completely agree with the two people who commented before me, that this is a great match!! Both wrestlers put forth a great effort in this match and that is always nice because it makes for a better video for us viewers!! Thank you for this awesome match!!! 😀 I really enjoyed watching this video a lot!! 🙂 Both Lia Labowe and Frank do a very nice job in this match, in both going on the offense against their opponent as well as defending themselves against the attacks of their opponent. Of course, Lia is able to do better at both, but Frank did a good job as well. 😀
Both Frank and Lia are clearly trying their best in this match and both have some experience as well, Frank from doing a bunch of videos at Fight Pulse, and of course Lia from doing sessions and videos all around the world for years. Lia is a very talented and determined wrestler and she is more experienced, of course, so that definitely gives her the advantage in this wrestling match. But Frank’s experience and ability is good too, and he has his moments, catching Lia in a few body scissor holds and even forcing her to submit one time. But Lia is in control more often and is able to get Frank to submit several times using her strong legs to squeeze Frank in scissor holds and triangle holds which are definitely effective for her in this video. Frank defends well but Lia is some times able to get through his defenses, and when she gets her strong legs wrapped around his neck, he often has no choice but to submit. 🙂 I also enjoyed the last submission Lia got on Frank, at the end of the match, when she was able to get him effectively pinned down in the reverse face sitting position, and forced him to submit! 😀 I always enjoy seeing women get men in that hold a lot!! And that is a tough hold to get in a competitive wrestling match, so of course, it was great to see her be able to do that against such a tough male opponent and I think that it was the perfect ending to a truly nice, competitive, mixed match!!! 😀
I would highly recommend this video to anyone who likes tough, competitive, mixed wrestling matches, where both the woman and the man are trying their best, but the woman wins in the end, after a hard-fought, and fairly close match, due to her better experience and wrestling skill. Fans of that kind of match, and of course fans of the awesome Lia Labowe will definitely enjoy this match as I did!! 😀 🙂
I just watched this match, and honestly I really enjoyed it.
I really like Lia’s outfit; even though it’s just a plain black leotard, it looks great on her and gives off a strong, confident vibe. The match feels real rather than scripted, with a lot of intense submissions. You can clearly see the person getting caught in holds struggling to escape. It’s not one-sided either—while Lia is more dominant overall and lands more submissions (and with greater variety), Frank still manages to get some submissions in, which keeps the match dynamic and interesting.
It’s also clear that Lia’s advantage comes more from her skill than pure physical strength, which I personally appreciate. At the same time, credit to Frank for still being able to challenge her—it doesn’t feel completely one-sided.

The video quality is also very good, definitely above average.
Overall, I’d rate it 8/10. A very satisfying to watch.
