Xena (stats) is back after a long hiatus to face Fight Pulse fan favorite, Zoe (stats), in a competitive smother-rules match, who recently moved up to the middleweight division. The way this seemingly even match-up turns into basically a one-sided painful onslaught caught everybody by surprise.
Xena has gotten bigger and stronger, in the heavyweight class now, with 11 kg (24 lb) weight advantage over Zoe. However, Zoe has the edge in speed and experience, especially in the smother-submissions-only ruleset. Looks like it has the makings of a tough, but more or less close match. However…

With superior speed, top control and raw aggression Zoe takes over the match, dominating her opponent. The way Zoe aggressively pins down, smothers and submits her bigger, but slower opponent, despite her trying her best to fight back, is a sight to behold! Zoe subjects Xena to multiple real facesitting, breast smothering submissions and even a belly smothering submission. She scores over 10 points with rough smothering holds during the match.
FW-84 is perhaps Zoe’s most aggressive victory in F/F matches to date. The picture of Zoe’s tanned body, overwhelming, straddling and subduing her opponent’s pale body is persistent throughout the fight. There is no love lost between the two: Zoe often drops her butt forcefully onto Xena’s face, inflicting pain, along with cutting off her breath. This turns into Xena’s toughest experience as the losing side at Fight Pulse to date.
