MX-128 is a great, hard-fought, and close, back and forth competitive mixed match! Both Axa Jay and Steve are both tough competitors and they both give their all in this match, which makes it a superb video!!! While Axa Jay is more experienced, Steve has a good amount of experience too, having wrestled some tough women at Fight Pulse before this match, such as Viktoria, Anika, and Tia to name just a few. Add to that fact that Steve is much taller, weighs over 50 lbs. more than Axa, and has a stronger upper body than her as well, and you have a fairly evenly-matched pair of opponents going in to this video. I expected that this match could go either way, as the description for this video said, and figured that it would be close either way. Both opponents really Brought It in this match, which I really enjoyed, and both of them really did their best to win this match!! I expected a great and close match when I bought this video and I’m happy to say that is exactly what I got!!! 🙂

I have purchased a bunch of competitive mixed wrestling matches over the years, both from other companies and here at Fight Pulse, and I have to say this is one of the Best in that style of match!! 😀 And having seen some of the previous competitive mixed videos of both Axa Jay and Steve, I know that they are both tough and determined wrestlers, who always do their best, each with their own strengths, so I knew that this match would definitely not be a one-sided matchup, as I have some times seen, both on this site and on others as well. And while I enjoy dominant matches some times, with there being no doubt going in that the woman will easily defeat and dominate the man, for a variety of factors, I also greatly enjoy matches like this one, where the male and female opponents are fairly evenly-matched and either opponent could legitimately win!! 🙂 Steve’s size and strength advantages, as well as his decent level of experience gained from his prior videos at Fight Pulse create some difficulties for Axa Jay in this match, and Steve is able to win points against her with both pins and submissions. However, Axa is a great fighter and never gives up, even when she is down, and it seems to me like she Hates to lose, even one point, from what I noticed about her reactions when Steve gets on top of her or when he wins a point against her. But she doesn’t let that get her down and she starts over, after each point, with determination and tenacity, to take Steve down and win the next point, regardless of who won the prior point! And that is one of the things that I love most about the amazing Axa Jay!!! 🙂 She has a great fighting spirit and Never gives up!!! 😀 I have noticed this in the other videos I have seen with her before as well. She is a true fighter who always gives her best effort!!

So despite Steve’s scoring against her, Axa Jay just keeps coming back hard against Steve every time, and she gets on top of him and scores points against him, just as he did, using both pins and submissions. I especially liked the arm lock/stretch that Axa used toward the end of the match to win a submission against Steve. It was a good and well-applied hold that Axa Jay used perfectly. Steve’s reaction to it is priceless afterward, as he exclaimed “No Way” as he was seemingly caught off-guard by her getting him in that hold. While Steve mostly uses his size and strength, Axa Jay is the more experienced of the two and she also seems to have better stamina than Steve as well, and those two factors allow her to be victorious in the end, winning the match by a small margin, despite Steve’s best attempts to win this match. I think that both were confident going into the match, but Axa Jay’s greater experience and wrestling skill carry the day, despite Steve’s obvious size and strength advantages. Axa Jay seemed confident going in, despite being so much smaller than Steve, and she stated in the pre-fight interview that she often goes up against much larger men in competitive wrestling matches and wins most of the time, rarely losing to them. Steve was much more subdued in the prefight interview, saying that he would try his best. He didn’t say this, so I could be wrong about what he was thinking then, in the prefight interview, but I got the impression that he thought he would win because of his size and strength advantages over Axa Jay, and because most of the women he wrestled competitively against before this match were either larger than Axa Jay or more experienced than her. But in this match, she showed him just how tough and great she truly is at wrestling, despite her appearance. I also got the impression in the post-match interview that Steve was surprised that a woman that’s so much smaller than him, could defeat him, and also thought that he was surprised as well, by just how great Axa Jay is and what an outstanding job she did in this match!! Both of them complemented their opponent at the end of the match as well, in the ending interview and both seemed satisfied that they did their best to win and make a great wrestling video, and I appreciated that as well. 😀

I would highly recommend this video for anyone who likes, close, back and forth, hard-fought, competitive mixed wrestling matches. 🙂 I am sure that fans of that type of wrestling match and fans of the Awesome wrestling warrior Axa Jay will love this outstanding video as much a I did!!! 😀
