In this scripted encounter Jane ( ), as she promises in pre-match interview, “destroys” Steve ( ). Among the 15 points that Jane scores, there are lots of different interesting holds in NC-21, including lots of chin-grabs and a first-ever matchbook pin at Fight Pulse.
The video quality of this video is superior to our previous releases, since we updated video-rendering to achieve better quality starting from previous release. That release had a poll asking subscribers and visitors to vote, whether larger files are acceptable considering quality increase. As we write this release, 93% of voters have selected better quality over file size, so, as long as there are no drastic changes in the poll, we will be rendering files for better quality (and 30% increase in file size).
As always, here’s the disclaimer. This is an NC title, which stands for non-competitive, and the action is more-or-less scripted. If you enjoy real mixed wrestling, check our MX titles. You can read more about categorization of Fight Pulse videos in our FAQ.
That being said, this video was filmed at the end of last year, before we implemented quality standards, and hence has sveral issues that might disappoint some of you. First of all, there is intermittent loud fan noise during the first 5 minutes of the video. The audio was also recorded before we upgraded the external microphone. Secondly, there are way too many cuts, especially for an NC title, and the action does not have a natural flow. Thirdly, the background is a mess, and includes people walking by and some other distracting stuff. Based on all of this we have decided to release this video with a discount. While generally an NC release would be priced at $13.99, NC-21 is priced $9.99, and this is permanent.
But it is worth saying at this point, that despite the two disclaimers above, this video still has some great action – pins, scissor holds, and an awesome long victory pose, including the final interview done with Jane pinning down Steve’s thigh with her foot (there’s no interview with Steve post-match).
Match outline: introductory interviews, staredown, the match itself (16 minutes), long victory pose (foot on chest, foot on leg), final interviews.
