NC-166 follows a similar format to NC-148. Every round ends with a victory pose by the person scoring. It has forehead-to-forehead staredowns almost every round, a lot of the mercy game, hair grabbing, pushing, trash talking, along with excellent, tight pins, scissor holds, and, of course, dominant neck-straddle and standing victory poses.

At the end of the match, while still treading on the loser, the winner calls out a recent Fight Pulse guest.
