This is a very nice match. With a strong and confident Akela going against a less experienced and smaller Foxy, who won’t go down without a fight. The match is great for both, its pins and submissions.
Detailed review of the match (SPOILER WARNING!):
1st fall
Foxy tries to be the aggressor, but gets outmaneuvered by Akela, allowing Akela to go for an instant grapevine pin, thus scoring the first point of the match.
2nd fall
Akela awaits for Foxy to go in, which she eventually does, this time being more careful she isn’t outmaneuvered with ease. Yet, Akela manages to get her legs around Foxy’s body, who end’s up on her back. After having her legs perfectly secured around Foxy’s body, Akela rolls over on her back, taking the still trapped fox with her. Straightening her legs and full body, Akela gives Foxy a first tasted of what her legs can do, which forces Foxy to quickly tap out and getting some deep breathes in.
3rd fall
Foxy attempts to take the initiative again, but pretty much bounces off Akela, who directly counters. Foxy manages to set up for a headlock but is not in the position to secure it. After some struggle, Akela is able to get Foxy on her back, trying to go for a cross body pin, which she can’t do, as her right leg is below Foxy’s body. Still able to immobilize Foxy’s left arm with her upper body and managing to pin Foxy’s neck and right shoulder to the mat with her hips and left leg, Akela pulls her right leg out from below Foxy’s body and plants it over Foxy’s body to secure Foxy’s right legs with it and the assitance of her left leg. A rather unusual pin, that worked out in favor of Akela in the end.
4th fall
Another of Foxy’s openings is countered by Akela, leaving Akela on top of her opponent. Foxy is trying to trap one of Akela’s legs with her own, but Akela is able to break it free, while keeping Foxy on her back. Thus Akela is able to punish Foxy with a reverse headscissor submission.
5th fall
Foxy attempts to go in again. Akela, getting her left hand on Foxy’s neck while blocking Foxy’s left arm with the right hand, let’s herself fall backwards to get her legs around Foxy’s body once more. Being able to push Foxy’s left arm out of the way, thanks to blocking it off earlier, and pulling Foxy’s head down with her left hand, Akela manages to apply a figure four headlock on Foxy, who immediately struggles, causing both to fall to the side, allowing Akela to find stability and and secure a seated figure four headlock, and thus this fall.
6th fall
Again Foxy does the first move. In the end both fighters end up on the back having a headlock on the other. As Foxy is below Akela she is able to get her legs around her, just not where she wanted them to be. As Akela only needs one arm and her upper body to keep Foxy’s head trapped, she uses her free hand to break Foxy’s scissor and catch her left leg in her own thighs. Breaking also free from Foxy’s arms Akela is able to go for another improvised crossbody pin, in which she hooks Foxy’s left leg with her own legs. This pin looks fantastic and frankly quite efficient. Marking the second point for Akela with an improvised crossbody pin. You could make science out of that.
7th fall
Foxy sticks to her aggressive plan, but only finds herself in a one arm headlock. Yet, Foxy is not out of ideas and is able to get on Akela’s back, throwing her over and locking her arms and leg’s around Akela, but still having her head between Akela’s upper body and the mat. Akela is able to break Foxy’s scissor with her much stronger legs, and quickly separating Foxy’s arms as well. Now in full control Akela is working her way towards a schoolgirl pin, fixating Foxy’s arms and head solid between her thighs, leaving Foxy’s arms stuck in midair and Foxy herself unable to avoid the count to ten.
8th fall
This time the first offensive movement comes from Akela, but Foxy swiftly reacts to this aggression, leaving Akela on her back and Foxy on top. But Akela has her right hand on Foxy’s neck and is pulling her right shin under Foxy’s chin. Foxy reacts fasts and avoids this situation, but ends up in danger of a headscissor, she also flees from in a heartbeat. Akela however sets after her prey, who manages to turn around in time to at least not get caught off guard completely and able to counter initiate. Even so Foxy is able to end up on top of Akela, her left arm is trapped in a scissor and Akela’s arms holding her body down. An escape attempt is used by Akela to catch Foxy in one arm headlock, while both are getting back up to their knees. While both are falling backwards, Akela releases the headlock to turn around and trapping Foxy on her back. On quick move later and Akela has nailed Foxy completely to the mat with a reverse schoolgirl pin, which finally is deciding this fall.
9th fall
Akela starts this fall off, this time with more aggression, landing her on top of Foxy with another one arm headlock, while Foxy got both arms around Akela, in order to not lose total control. Yet, while the focus seems to on the headlock duel, the real danger are still Akela amazing legs, which sneak their away around Foxy’s body, while the audience eyes might still be focusing the headlocks. In the end the headlocks have to step aside as Akela’s bodyscissor decides the fall.
10th fall
Following the 9th fall, Foxy decides to take over the initiative again. As Foxy goes in, Akela grabs her head and falls backwards, using Foxy’s movement against her. A quickly applied bodyscissor leaves Foxy screaming and tapping out shortly after.
11th fall
Foxy tries again to go offensive but appears to be fairly intimidated and cautious this time around. A little to cautious, as her slower approach is easily read by Akela, landing foxy on her back and Akela on top of her. Foxy struggles hard to get out, while Akela climbs slowly up Foxy’s body, until only Foxy’s left arm and head are left between Akela’s vigorous thighs. Akela lifts Foxy’s head to slide her left leg below it. Then, Akela rolls over locking the figure four headlock with arm trap and submitting Foxy.
12th fall
Foxy attacks again, this time with more courage, than the fall before. Both girls end up in a position we’ve seen often before. Both on the back, Akela on top with a on arm headlock and foxy below. This time Foxy is able to escape the one arm headlock and finally gets a decent bodyscissor and headlock on Akela, who is able to break the headlock and apply one of her own, right before breaking the scissor with her superior legs and a little help from one hand, also lifting her headlock on Foxy. Being in a better position, Akela nails Foxy’s upper body to the Mat with on leg, while her other is between Foxy’s legs, but out of danger. After both fighters reanalyze the situation Akela tries to grab Foxy, who allows offensively rolls into Akela with her free left hand. Yet Akela is getting her right leg out from between Foxy’s legs in time, to catch Foxy’s left arm between her legs. Trying to escape Foxy rolls on her belly, allowing Akela to release Foxy’s arm and grab her neck instead with her right arm, while getting atop Foxy’s back and pulling her over into a full nelson bodyscissor combo, which secures the fall for Akela.
13th fall
This fall starts with Foxy tackling Akela, but her right legs gets caught in between Akela’s, who also is able to catch Foxy’s head with her right arm. Akela is again able to get the upper position, but now her right leg is caught by Foxy’s legs. As before Akela can free her leg and is able to pin Foxy. Yet, there is no count, as Foxy’s left shoulder is still up. Realizing this Akela fixes the issue by trapping Foxy’s arms and head between her thighs once more for a successful schoolgirl pin.
14th fall
Foxy goes in again. Both combatants get an arm around the others neck, but it is Akela, that is able to put foxy on her back. Foxy resists severely until she ends up on her bells with Akela still on top of her. Akela grabs both of Foxy’s arms and pulls them back. Getting in a seated position Akela lockes the arms in place with her legs causing Foxy to submit.
15th fall
Foxy gets in again, but Akela dodges Foxy’s attack, wrapping her legs around foxy’s body and grabbing her neck, swiftly throwing Foxy on her back and mounting her. Foxy makes an attempt to escape but fails. Giving Akela the opportunity to pin her. While the count is starting Akela turns it into a full grapevine pin, which Foxy can’t escape.
16th fall
Another fall with Foxy starting the Action. Both fighters end up in the often seen one armed headlock with both fighters on the back, Akela on top of Foxy this time around, while Foxy is trapping Akela’s right leg with her own for a short time. Once Akela’s leg is free, she instantly assumes the position for a reverse headscissor. Foxy resists as hard as she can (for good reasons), but eventually finds herself in Akela’s reverse headscissor, which only leaves her the option to tap out.
17th fall
Foxy sticks to her aggressive strategy, finding herself on her back again with Akela on top. foxy at least managed to catch Akela’s right leg once more, but again isn’t able to trap it for long. Thus Akela is finally able to get a regular crossbody pin on Foxy, deciding the fall.
18th fall
Even in the final fall Foxy makes the first move, ending up between Akelas legs right away and having one arm around her neck, as Akela falls backwards. Not long after, Akela gets Foxy on her back, in order to set up a final figure four head lock with an arm trapped. A decisive squeeze from Akela brings the final submission and an 18-0 victory for Akela.
Conclusion:
Foxy tried her best and showed some good stamina and aggression. But she neither has the experience nor the physical strength to stand against Akela, yet.
Akela truly shines in this match, with great pins and submissions. Happy to use her killer scissors and showing why her legs shall be feared. A good, one-sided competitive match, with enough variety in pins and submissions to keep the entire match fresh.
Cheers
Grem
Pretty but it would be hotter if Akela would have worn yoga pants like she did in the past. It’s always hotter when the yoga pants go at least down below the knees.
